In order to create a “Place of Well-being” and a building that reflects the College’s teaching mission, the new Health Sciences Center at Rock Valley College provides instructional space that support both existing and emerging health industry degree and certificate programs. 
This new facility is more sophisticated and allows our students to be more tech-savvy and feel comfortable with the accouterments of technology.

Designed for 21st century teaching and learning.

 The facility was designed to accomodate 21st century teaching/learning environments for the allied health sciences professions. OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony College of Nursing occupies part of the third floor and all of the fourth floor of the building. ​The College of Nursing was established in 1915 and offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, and a doctorate of nursing practice programs.

The 70,000 g. s.f. facility houses spaces for the following programs and areas: 
  • Nursing
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Dental Hygiene
  • EMT/Paramedic/Fire Science
  • Respiratory Care
  • Surgical Technician
  • Rehabilitative Services
  • General Classrooms
  • General Student Spaces

  • A large waterfall feature in the main lobby creates a soothing and welcoming environment
