In order to create a “Place of Well-being” and a building that reflects the College’s teaching mission, the new Health Sciences Center at Rock Valley College provides instructional space that support both existing and emerging health industry degree and certificate programs.

Designed for 21st century teaching and learning.
The facility was designed to accomodate 21st century teaching/learning environments for the allied health sciences professions. OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony College of Nursing occupies part of the third floor and all of the fourth floor of the building. The College of Nursing was established in 1915 and offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, and a doctorate of nursing practice programs.

This move (to the new facility) will help us better serve the region's workforce needs and to be relevant for nursing students today and for nursing students of the future.
