The first floor of Hovey Hall, an existing administrative building on the campus of Illinois State University, was remodeled to serve as the new home of the Financial Aid Department.
Hovey Hall's namesake, General Charles E. Hovey (1827-1897), taught in different schools across the country before the idea of a teacher's college came about. He was the first president of ISU and oversaw the building of it's first structure, Old Main.

Details that make a difference.

  • Enhanced the student experience by providing a physical environment that supports a streamlined financial aid process

  • Provides a more spacious entry lobby with a visual relationship to the executive spaces on floors above
