St. Paul’s Church moved into an old clothing distribution center and remodeled a portion of the building to include their sanctuary and Christian education spaces. Blessed with member growth and looking to reach more of the community, St. Paul’s asked BLDD to develop designs for the facade that would better represent them as a church from the exterior. BLDD’s design created a main entrance, warmed up the facade and brought the scale down to feel more welcoming.
One of the ministries at St. Paul’s provides daycare services for the community. However, the Early Learning Center (ELC) was located in an older building across town that they were selling. St. Paul’s asked BLDD to develop a plan to remodel a portion of the unfinished building for the ELC. BLDD provided multiple plan options for the building which included seven daycare rooms, a dining room, commercial kitchen, offices, and indoor play space.
The church also needed a dining room for the large meals they serve and a gym to minister the youth in the community. BLDD was able to develop a plan that allows the new commercial kitchen for the daycare to also serve the dining room and the gym, allowing the church to be flexible in their programming.
