Rochester Intermediate School

BLDD Architects was asked to design a new intermediate school for the district to house grades four, five, and six.  The building was designed with two floors in addition to an equipment mezzanine.  The academic wing houses 30 classrooms, six special education classrooms, a media center, and two computer labs. In addition the building houses a cafeteria and commons area and a band and chorus room. It has an event entry that leads to a 7,500 s.f. gymnasium. The second floor has two art rooms and two science rooms.
