This 10,000 s.f. research facility was designed within the constraints of a former tuberculosis hospital. The project incorporates four new lab areas, each with a separate tissue preparation and culture lab. To economize the use of space, a centralized common equipment room accessible to each of the four labs was designed. A darkroom and dishwashing room was included as well as mechanical, storage, and bathroom facilities to support the project.
