Built nearly 100 years ago, this building was in need of extensive renovation and upgrading to accommodate state-of-the-art laboratories. One of the largest challenges facing the design was the full integration of the three major portions of the building. A three-story addition was constructed providing a dramatic new entrance. Exterior renovations were made with the historic nature of the building considered. Interior renovations provided upgraded building standards for teaching, research, and student interaction laboratories.
