Glenwood High School houses 1,500 students and allows for easy traffic patterns, minimal security concerns, and provides a sense of intimacy in a large building. This intimacy can be felt within the large commons area where a barrel vaulted ceiling, brick colonnade enclosure, and two skylights provide space for educational and community activities. The two story education wing houses technology smart classrooms, computer labs, and an office area for each teacher. The applied arts wing includes a performance auditorium with seating for 700, multipurpose rooms, band and choral rooms. The gymnasium wing features a large competition gymnasium, an auxiliary gymnasium, and four locker rooms.
