Kayla Peck

Architecural Intern

Bachelor of Science, Architecutural Studies
University of Illinois

Growing up with a father who was constantly working on a project, Kayla quickly grew a curiosity with the built world, and soon started looking into architecture. This sprung from the idea of creative problem solving with the projects she had worked on. She feels it's not only about the aesthetics, but how well the object (or building) functions once the project is done.

Outside of her summer internship and working towards a masters degree, Kayla enjoys creating her own personal work. From a large foundation of artistic friends and family, she works with a variety of crafts such as ceramics, stained glass making, and is currently pushing to sharpen her woodworking skills. Overall, Kayla strives to know how the world is built by being hands on as much as possible.
